Organisation: Little Herons Nursery at West Monkton C of E Primary School
Due to the continued growth of Little Herons Nursery at West Monkton Primary School, we are looking to recruit creative and ambitious Nursery Practitioners that can offer a degree of flexibility over the holiday periods whilst our numbers continue to grow.
The ability to get on and work with people within an Early Years team and wider school community is essential. Governors are looking for practitioners that can provide safe high quality education and care for young children. They will be required to act as a key person to a small group of children: planning and assessing for their individual needs which is vital. Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, and be able to liaise closely and effectively building strong relationship with parents/carers and staff.
Qualifications: level 3 (minimum) or level 2 (will be accepted to be working towards level 3 qualification) nursery practitioner. SENCO, child protection and first aid qualifications desirable but training will be provided.

We are looking to appoint a lunchtime assistant from September 2017. Working as part of the existing lunchtime team you will be responsible for supervising all children whilst they eat their lunch and enjoy their play.
The successful applicant will:
- Have good interpersonal skills
- Be reliable and conscientious
- A team player
- Have experience of establishing positive relationships with children
- Have an enthusiasm for and an active interest in children’s welfare and play
- Engage pupils in purposeful activity during the lunchtime (during both good weather and ‘wet’ lunchtimes)
- Be able to use their initiative and be open to new ideas
- Promote healthy eating and well-being
